Senior Manager, Sustainability

Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITP”, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, is engaged in the planning, building, management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop (“the Loop”).
 
With a site area of 87 hectares, the Loop will be a hub for vigorous technology R&D and collaboration among top-notch international R&D institutions, technology enterprises and talent. The Loop will provide necessary infrastructure, facilities and service support for the innovation and technology (I&T) community; with associated higher education, cultural and creative and other complementary facilities.

Job Highlights: The role will focus on sustainability reporting, metrics governance, circularity and stakeholder engagement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ESG metrics design and tracking and manage the sustainability reporting which should be in line with the reporting framework of HKSAR, China and selected global standard(s). 
  • Develop communication content and plan of sustainability vision and action to engage the internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Coordinate the ESG Steering Group and Taskforces to facilitate the collaboration of stakeholders across different divisions. 
  • Create and oversee a Circular program, starting from ideation, piloting, and scaling, to fully integrate into the organization. 
  • Set up and implement management systems, assess and monitor environmental aspects & impacts of operational activities. 
  • Formulate strategic partnership with the external stakeholders, including regulators, tenants, industry/professional bodies and supply chain partners. 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as sustainability, environmental science, business, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant working experience in Sustainability, ESG or related roles.
  • Proven experience in sustainability reporting and metrics governance preferable exposure to real estate, construction and hospitability industries. 
  • Extensive knowledge of ESG disclosure standards such as IFRS, TCFD, ISSB, CSRD, GRI and CDP 
  • Capable of managing relationship with consultants in delivering materiality assessment, copywriting and risk assessment. 
  • Demonstrated success case in leveraging with sustainability-relevant organizations in China and Hong Kong. 
  • Strive in different roles in a cross-functional team approach. 
  • Excellence in both English and Chinese (written and spoken).
