Assistant Manager, HR & Corporate Services (C&B)

Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITP”, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, is engaged in the planning, building, management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop (“the Loop”).
 
With a site area of 87 hectares, the Loop will be a hub for vigorous technology R&D and collaboration among top-notch international R&D institutions, technology enterprises and talent. The Loop will provide necessary infrastructure, facilities and service support for the innovation and technology (I&T) community; with associated higher education, cultural and creative and other complementary facilities.

Job Purpose:

Reporting to Senior Manager, HR & Corporate Services (C&B), this role is to drive operational excellence in C&B services, ensuring our rewards framework remains competitive to attract and retain top I&T talent while maintaining strict compliance with statutory and internal governance standards. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end C&B operations, including payroll, pension administration (MPF), tax filings, and HR system (SAP SuccessFactors) management in a timely and accurate manner
  • Administer group insurance and schemes; liaise with brokers to ensure cost-effectiveness and high service quality
  • Ensure full adherence to the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, procurement guidelines, and internal governance; support all internal/external audits
  • Lead HR system enhancements and process optimization projects to improve employee experience and efficiency
  • Prepare cost projections and management reports to support strategic decision-making
  • Supervise personnel record management, ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance
  • Provide professional advice and support to internal stakeholders on C&B related matters and policies
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties and assignments as required

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of solid HR experience, with at least 3 years focused on C&B operations, preferably within sizable organizations or public bodies
  • Good knowledge of C&B market best practices, including current trends in total rewards, incentive schemes, and employee wellness initiatives
  • Hands-on proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS is highly preferred
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for complex data analysis
  • Good understanding of the HKEO, MPF Ordinance, and IRD requirements
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong numerical sense
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight payroll/reporting deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to manage vendor relationships and internal stakeholder expectations
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua
  • Frequent Travel or Permanent Work in Lok Ma Chau Office is required (Shuttle bus service & MTR concession scheme is available)
