Assistant Manager, Human Resources & Corporate Services

Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITP”, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, is engaged in the planning, building, management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop (“the Loop”).
 
With a site area of 87 hectares, the Loop will be a hub for vigorous technology R&D and collaboration among top-notch international R&D institutions, technology enterprises and talent. The Loop will provide necessary infrastructure, facilities and service support for the innovation and technology (I&T) community; with associated higher education, cultural and creative and other complementary facilities.

Reporting to Manager, Human Resources & Corporate Services, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the full talent acquisition and employee life cycle, collaborating with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. This role also involves overseeing the offboarding process, assisting in the review and update of HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with local labor legislation. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will compile and consolidate departmental reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement plans to streamline HR processes and enhance HR systems. Undertaking HR projects and assignments as required is also a key part of this role. 

Responsbilities: 

  • Manage the full talent acquisition cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding candidates
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and candidate profiles, maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Oversee the offboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for departing employees
  • Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies, procedures, and compliance with local labor legislation
  • Compile and consolidate departmental reports, including organization chart, turnover analysis, and any other reports
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement plans to streamline HR processes and enhance HR systems
  • Undertake HR projects and assignments as required

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in human resources, preferably gained from a sizable organization, with a focus on Talent Acquisition 
  • Well versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other employment regulatory
  • Agile, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams 
  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications; knowledge in SAP is a plus
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, Chinese, and Putonghua
  • Occasional travel to Lok Ma Chau Office is required
