
Assistant Manager, Project Management Office
Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITP”, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, is engaged in the planning, building, management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop (“the Loop”).
With a site area of 87 hectares, the Loop will be a hub for vigorous technology R&D and collaboration among top-notch international R&D institutions, technology enterprises and talent. The Loop will provide necessary infrastructure, facilities and service support for the innovation and technology (I&T) community; with associated higher education, cultural and creative and other complementary facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Development of milestones and schedules for the individual contracts and consolidate them into an integrated overall development program;
- Advise the delivery teams of the critical activities and work collaboratively to identify solutions to accelerate progress or mitigate delays;
- Establish the KPIs for the individual contracts as well as the overall development program and monitor them against actual progress;
- Consolidate progress input from contractors and internal departments to compile monthly report including contract expenditure against budget;
- Attend regular meetings with contractors, stakeholders and government agencies, to provide project development and progress status updates;
- Presentation to the various committees and the board on progress update as and when necessary;
- Act as a point of contact with the government departments and agencies in both Hong Kong and Mainland in terms of project liaison function;
- Assist any duties assigned by supervisor when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in Civil, Construction or Building Engineering or related disciplines;
- Member of a recognized professional institution (e.g. HKIE, RPE, MICE, PMP or other relevant institutions);
- 6-8 yearsâ relevant working experience preferably gained from property developer, consultants or statutory bodies;
- Familiar with HKSAR government practices and procedures; experience with the mainland government liaison protocol will be an advantage;
- Knowledge of statutory requirements and procedures for development projects in Hong Kong;
- Self-driven, independent, problem solving with good interpersonal skill;
- Proactive with excellent negotiation and presentation skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
- Conversant with project management software such as Primavera Enterprise (P6), Primavera Project Planner (P3), Suretrak, Microsoft Projects and graphics presentation tools;
- Conversant with 2D drafting software such as AutoCAD and 3D modelling software such as Revit and Navisworks;
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
