Manager, Client Development

Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITP”, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, is engaged in the planning, building, management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop (“the Loop”).
 
With a site area of 87 hectares, the Loop will be a hub for vigorous technology R&D and collaboration among top-notch international R&D institutions, technology enterprises and talent. The Loop will provide necessary infrastructure, facilities and service support for the innovation and technology (I&T) community; with associated higher education, cultural and creative and other complementary facilities.

The HSITP is being rapidly developed, with the first three buildings in the Hong Kong area of the Loop set to officially commence operations in this year. Additionally, the construction of five more buildings is well underway, with completion expected to begin in 2027. To fully leverage this world-class innovation hub, we are building a dedicated and ambitious business development team to attract and cultivate global clients for the Park.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic "hunter" to drive new business opportunities
  • Oversee, review, and approve business fit presentations and proposals
  • Coordinate and optimize the utilization of Client Development resources to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Facilitate communication between key decision-makers in customer organizations and internal opportunity owners/teams
  • Define, review, and refine sales and sector growth strategies to align with overarching business objectives
  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers of potential clients, delivering value-based proposals tailored to their needs and driving actions to close deals
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new leads and opportunities within untapped accounts
  • Conduct comprehensive internal and external research to uncover customer requirements and market trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate solution options and present compelling proposals to customer decision-makers

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, with a focus on new B2B engagement
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a strong sales-driven mindset and expertise in consultative selling techniques
  • Outgoing, proactive, and adept at building relationships, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Resilient, adaptable and a quick learner
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese; Native Speaker in Mandarin is preferred
  • Frequent Travel or Work in Lok Ma Chau Office is required (Shuttle bus service & MTR concession scheme is available)
