Manager, Ecosystem Development (Entrepreneurship)
Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITP”, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, is engaged in the planning, building, management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop (“the Loop”).
With a site area of 87 hectares, the Loop will be a hub for vigorous technology R&D and collaboration among top-notch international R&D institutions, technology enterprises and talent. The Loop will provide necessary infrastructure, facilities and service support for the innovation and technology (I&T) community; with associated higher education, cultural and creative and other complementary facilities.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Ecosystem Development, the Manager will:
Responsibilities:
- Support design & delivery of all incubation programmes
- Support promotional activities of all incubation programmes
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of programme startups
- Lead day‑to‑day programme operations: schedules, vendor coordination, logistics
- Maintain CRM / startup database and track progress
- Ensure programme complies with internal procedure and government requirements
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and data summaries for internal review
- Provide pipeline tracking and updates to the management from time to time
- Ensure the proper use of funding from programme startups
- Monitoring funding outcomes (including public funding granted and funding raised by startups)
- Understanding available funding (local and non-local grants, investment pathways etc.) and facilitate application where necessary
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline
- Minimum 8 years’ working experience, at least 5 years of experience in universities, institutions, NGOs, start-up support or related fields. Prior experience in technology parks or start-up incubator and funding programmes is an advantage
- Demonstrated understanding of the start-up ecosystem and entrepreneurship trends
- Proven track record of liaising/communicating with the government, NGOs and industry. Experience in administering government funding schemes and/or government-funded projects is an advantage.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, attentive to details and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
- Frequent Travel or Permanent Work in Lok Ma Chau Office is required (Shuttle bus service & MTR concession scheme is available)
