Manager, Ecosystem Development (Strategic Partnership)
Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITP”, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, is engaged in the planning, building, management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop (“the Loop”).
With a site area of 87 hectares, the Loop will be a hub for vigorous technology R&D and collaboration among top-notch international R&D institutions, technology enterprises and talent. The Loop will provide necessary infrastructure, facilities and service support for the innovation and technology (I&T) community; with associated higher education, cultural and creative and other complementary facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate partners across various industry sectors and target markets. Establish corporate partnerships and identify collaboration opportunities to foster ecosystem development
- Formulate and execute go-to-market strategies and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) programmes, facilitating business matching and market adoption and accelerating technology commercialization for Park community companies
- Plan, organize and deliver thematic ecosystem activities, including business matching and demo days, and industry-focused sharing to drive technology adoption and collaboration between corporates, regional partners and HSITP technology community companies
- Develop and execute initiatives to support HSITP tech companies and startups for business expansion in entering international markets and Chinese Mainland, including Hetao Shenzhen Park. Build and manage strategic partnerships with regional innovation hubs, industrial parks, accelerators, corporates, and government agencies
- Facilitate market access via soft-landing programmes and promotional roadshows, and business delegation visits. Providing market intelligence and ecosystem connectivity to support regional market entry, scaling, and long-term growth
- Maintain accurate CRM records to track partnership progress and performance against targets
- Undertake other assigned duties as required to support the strategic objectives of the Ecosystem Development team
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science, Engineering or other related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years of work experience, preferably in corporate major account management, business and/or regional development
- Proven track record of project and programme management. Proven experience to establish, grow, and retain strategic enterprise partnerships
- Strong understanding of the technology parks and startup ecosystem, with solid awareness of emerging I&T trends, commercialization pathways, and enterprise adoption dynamics in the Greater Bay Area (GBA), Chinese Mainland, and international markets
- Strong strategic thinking and execution capability, with the ability to translate market insights and industry needs into actionable programmes and partnerships. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with confidence in engaging corporate executives, government bodies, and regional partners. Highly self-motivated and results-driven
- High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin). Proficiency in additional foreign languages is a strong advantage
- Frequent Travel or Permanent Work in Lok Ma Chau Office is required (Shuttle bus service & MTR concession scheme is available)
