Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITP”, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, is engaged in the planning, building, management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop (“the Loop”).
 
With a site area of 87 hectares, the Loop will be a hub for vigorous technology R&D and collaboration among top-notch international R&D institutions, technology enterprises and talent. The Loop will provide necessary infrastructure, facilities and service support for the innovation and technology (I&T) community; with associated higher education, cultural and creative and other complementary facilities.

Reporting to General Counsel, the incumbent will be responsible for handling day to day legal matters in relation to operations and commercial contracts / agreements / tender documents. He / She will also provide administrative support to the legal division. Major responsibilities are listed as follows:

Responsibilities:

  • Solid experience in reviewing and commenting on legal agreements and contracts written in English and Chinese (e.g. service agreement, confidentiality agreement, tenancy agreement, consultancy agreement, etc.)
  • Review and update legal and compliance policies and procedures
  • Able to work independently in completing assigned tasks in an efficient manner

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law or related discipline
  • Around 3 years of post-qualification experience gained from renowned legal firm or sizable organization; exposure in IP, technology, or related sectors is a bonus
  • Resilient, detail-minded & proactive attitude
  • Proficiency in MS office applications, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
