Senior Manager, Corporate Communications (Public Relations)
Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITP”, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, is engaged in the planning, building, management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop (“the Loop”).
With a site area of 87 hectares, the Loop will be a hub for vigorous technology R&D and collaboration among top-notch international R&D institutions, technology enterprises and talent. The Loop will provide necessary infrastructure, facilities and service support for the innovation and technology (I&T) community; with associated higher education, cultural and creative and other complementary facilities.
Job Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Corporate Communications (Public Relations) will lead the development and execution of strategic communications initiatives that strengthen the organization’s public profile, protect its reputation, and support key brand and stakeholder objectives. This role will oversee public relations strategy, campaign development, performance analysis, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communication planning to ensure a consistent, credible, and trusted organizational image.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a holistic media management strategy, build and maintain strong media relationships, secure positive press coverage, and monitor public sentiment to identify emerging issues and opportunities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute integrated communication and PR campaigns that drive engagement, enhance visibility, and promote brand loyalty
- Monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of communication and brand initiatives, translating insights into recommendations to improve strategy, content, and outreach effectiveness
- Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build constructive relationships, support alignment with strategic objectives, and ensure consistent messaging
- Develop crisis communication plans and response frameworks to mitigate reputational risks, manage sensitive issues, and maintain trust with stakeholders during challenging situations
- Oversee the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of external communications and public-facing materials
- Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategic relations initiatives with organizational priorities
- Identify communication risks and provide timely advice and recommendations to support informed decision-making
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Communications, Business, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline; Possess Master degree in related discipline is an advantage
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in public relations, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, brand management, or reputation management; With 5 years of solid experience of leading a sizeable team is preferred
- Experience in government, public sector, quasi-government, or large institutional environments, listed companies will be a plus
- Proven experience in media relations, campaign planning, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret communication performance data and convert insights into actionable strategies
- Strong leadership, coordination, and influencing skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of reputation management, media dynamics, and public sentiment monitoring
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior management in daily operation
- Mature, proactive, and collaborative approach with strong stakeholder management capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
- Permanent Work in Lok Ma Chau Office is required (Shuttle bus service & MTR concession scheme is available)
