Senior Manager, Ecosystem Development (Entrepreneurship)

Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITP”, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, is engaged in the planning, building, management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop (“the Loop”).
 
With a site area of 87 hectares, the Loop will be a hub for vigorous technology R&D and collaboration among top-notch international R&D institutions, technology enterprises and talent. The Loop will provide necessary infrastructure, facilities and service support for the innovation and technology (I&T) community; with associated higher education, cultural and creative and other complementary facilities.

Reporting to Director, Ecosystem Development, the Senior Manager will:

Job Duties:

  1. Promote HSITP funding programs and admitted companies to the wider community leveraging internal and external resources and networks as well as sourcing high quality technology companies to join the funding programs
  2. Collaborate with corporates, technology parks and industry associations in Hong Kong, China, and all over the world to collaborate on R&D effort, enable knowledge exchange and talent development in the Park
  3. Manage funding programs’ executions with operating partners, including but not limited to admissions, milestones assessment, promotions, contracts, payments, and compliances matters.
  4. Monitor the performance of the programs and identify opportunities for improvement, focusing on efficiency, KPIs and procedure standardization
  5. Manage high-quality and influential engagement events and activities to foster a vibrant and engaged community among ecosystem stakeholders in the Park

Job Requirements:

  1. University degree in any discipline with MBA a plus
  2. At least 10 years relevant experience in technology ecosystem development, startup support or related fields. Prior experience in technology park or startup incubator and funding programs is highly desirable
  3. Demonstrated understanding of the startup ecosystem, entrepreneurship trends and challenges faced by early-stage technology companies
  4. Experience in negotiating and partnering with technology providers, government agencies, digital technology, and industry associations
  5. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  6. Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  7. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager
