Senior Manager, Overseas Engagement

Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITP”, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, is engaged in the planning, building, management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop (“the Loop”).
 
With a site area of 87 hectares, the Loop will be a hub for vigorous technology R&D and collaboration among top-notch international R&D institutions, technology enterprises and talent. The Loop will provide necessary infrastructure, facilities and service support for the innovation and technology (I&T) community; with associated higher education, cultural and creative and other complementary facilities.

The Senior Manager, Overseas Engagement drives HSITP’s global corporate attraction strategy and international pipeline development. Sitting within the Strategic Partnerships team, this role combines market research, strategic pipeline mapping, and target-driven enterprise outreach.
The Senior Manager is responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing overseas technology companies, market leaders, and high-growth ventures across HSITP’s 6 core clusters.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Research & Cluster Strategy

  • Perform deep-dive research and competitive analysis across the 6 strategic clusters to map key global enterprise players, supply chain leaders, and high-potential corporate candidates
  • Analyze global innovation regions (e.g., North America, Europe, Middle East, Southeast Asia) to target top-tier corporate leads looking to expand R&D or commercial setups into the Greater Bay Area (GBA)
  • Develop sector-specific landing strategies, custom value propositions, and pitch materials tailored to multinational enterprises and tech scale-ups in each focus cluster

2. Strategic BD

  • Lead end-to-end outreach and engagement with target overseas enterprises, from initial pitch and facility landing at HSITP
  • Represent the Park at targeted international trade missions, global sector summits, and high-level corporate roadshows to pipeline overseas prospects

3. Internal Collaboration & Reporting

  • Collaborate with internal Leasing, Park Development, and Marketing teams to customize workspace solutions, policy incentives, and ecosystem support packages for overseas tenants
  • Maintain structured tracking of international prospect pipelines, lead sources, and cluster conversion metrics

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Engineering, or a related technology field. An MBA or Master's degree is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate attraction, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, or tech-focused business development
  • Demonstrated track record of closing B2B corporate deals or landing overseas enterprises/R&D centers
  • Direct industry exposure or commercial domain knowledge in at least two of HSITP’s core clusters (Life Science, AI & Data, Microelectronics, New Materials, New Energy, Robotics)
  • Able to synthesize industry trends, identify target company profiles, and translate market insights into actionable BD campaigns
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment across different international time zones
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Work Location: Lok Ma Chau Office (Shuttle bus service & MTR concession scheme is available)
