
Senior Officer, Ecosystem Development (Entrepreneurship)
Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (“HSITP”, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, is engaged in the planning, building, management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation & Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop (“the Loop”).
With a site area of 87 hectares, the Loop will be a hub for vigorous technology R&D and collaboration among top-notch international R&D institutions, technology enterprises and talent. The Loop will provide necessary infrastructure, facilities and service support for the innovation and technology (I&T) community; with associated higher education, cultural and creative and other complementary facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Disseminate the latest information on relevant government funding schemes to the technology start-ups and support them in applying the relevant funding.
- Assist in all-round administration for HSITP funding programs, work with Program Operator closely on program application, initial assessment, vetting, training and milestone assessments. Prepare funding contracts and handle change requests, payment and reimbursements to the successful incubatees. Conduct visit-cum-interviews with applicant companies to ensure incubatees’ compliance with relevant guidelines. Prepare relevant reports and summary lists as required.
- Handle enquiries about HSITP funding and support programs.
- Work closely with other teams and divisions of HSITP to ensure a smooth operation of the programs.
- Perform other duties (such as event support) assigned by the line manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Science, Engineering or related disciplines or equivalent
- 3 years of work experience in technology parks or startup incubators and funding programs is preferable
- Experience in project management, program administration and event management preferred
- Knowledge of Hong Kong’s innovation and technology ecosystem is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Strong team player with detail-oriented, good time management and multi-tasking abilities
- Proven track record in managing multiple projects and operational workflows.
